Hi There! I am Brooke Libby. My journey into the health and nutrition world started when I was struggling to understand my own health issues. I was eating what I thought was a “healthy” diet, but still was not feeling my best. I was not able to focus very well, I was tired, bloated and had skin issues. I was confused by all of the nutrition recommendations out there… Were eggs good or bad? Is red meat ok? It seemed everywhere I turned there was contradictory information. I started to read more and more about nutrition and found a lot of the information out there is false, or spun in a way that benefits the person (or company) putting the information out there. Around this same time my husband and I were ready to start a family; for three years we struggled through many fertility treatments to no avail. My hormones were out of whack and I didn’t know why.

It wasn’t until I started to change my diet and lifestyle that things started to change for me. I gave up the pre-packaged, low-calorie, convenient microwave meals that I thought were healthy and replaced them with REAL FOOD. Real food that is found in nature, not factory made “food” that is processed and loaded with preservatives and other chemicals that keep them “fresh” on the grocery store shelves for weeks, months or even years. When I started to incorporate more real food into my diet my energy and focus came back, my digestion got back on track and my skin issues improved. At this time I also focused on removing unneeded stress from my life. Shortly after this change, something amazing happened; I got pregnant, with no fertility medications or interventions! I had a very healthy pregnancy and gave birth to a beautiful baby boy.

My family and I live in the great state of Maine. My husband is a lobsterman. I have recently made the decision to leave my career as a CPA to focus on raising my son. Learning about nutrition and sharing this information has become more than a hobby, it is a passion. I have discovered a way of eating that doesn’t require food rules or calorie counting. I have sufficient energy to get through my day, power through a workout (when I have time) and chase after my very energetic little boy. I want to share this information so I can help you can feel your best as well. So often people have accepted their health problems as the norm, or they think there is nothing they can do about it. But there is! I hope the information I provide can help you make a change for the better in your life.
